Jervois Court

Jervois Court comprised of 50 units of apartments and was sold en bloc at $40.761 million.

Phang & Co acted for the en bloc owners, each of whom netted $1m each.

The Straits Times of Monday 12 May, 2003 carried the following report:

"Mr. Teoh Jin Choon paid $30,000 more than 30 years ago for his Jervois Court apartment off River Valley Road.

Now, his son Anson, a 36 year old remisier, as well as 93 other homeowners of Jervois Court and nearby Goldhill Mansion stand to pocket around $1 million each after their units were sold collectively for $105 million last month.

After some 10 months of negotiation, Centrepoint Properties agreed to buy the enlarged 101,800 sq ft site - which is almost as big as 10 Olympic size swimming pools."
